What are the Artist in Detail articles about?

The Artist in Detail articles give a close-up view of an artist’s work. In an increasingly digital era this allows one to view the brshstroke, texture, colours, material – all elements that play a vital role in making up an artist’s personal “handwriting”. All photos displayed in these articles are taken by myself.

Welcome to robobop.com, the new blog of artist and illustrator Robert Scholten.

Some of you might know my blogging from my current blog at www.robertscholten.blogspot.com. Robobop will continue and expand upon the content, with it’s emphasis centred on the creative community.

What is the difference?
Robobop will continue my artistic endeavours from www.robertscholten.blogspot.com (though I’ll continue the content on both). Expect to see more posts on my sketchbooks, projects, commissions, and process. However, there will be more. Robobop will expand to include more artist profiles, inspirations, interviews, tutorials and the occasional random musing.

Will there be regular updates?
Yes! Robobop will be updated at a minimum of once per fortnight, though I will be trying to get more. Stay tuned, enjoy the ride and feel free to leave your thoughts – I’d love to hear from you!

What will happen to the old blog?
It will continue. My art content that relates to it will be posted on both blogs, though robobop will have more content.
